Patricia Ruiz-Rivera

Patricia Ruiz Rivera works in English, French, Spanish, German, and Portuguese. She completed her Master of Arts degree in Comparative Literature on May 2015. Her research interests include representations of violence in literary works about the Holocaust and Latin America, media studies, memory and trauma studies, and theories of translation. She is specifically interested in how trauma affects individual and collective memory through speechlessness and literature after the Holocaust and the military dictatorships in Argentina and Chile.
